EORTC IN-PATSAT32

The EORTC IN-PATSAT32 is a 32-item satisfaction with care questionnaire to measure patients’ appraisal of hospital doctors and nurses, as well as aspects of care organisation and services. It addresses technical competence, information provision, interpersonal skills, availability, waiting time, access, comfort and overall care perception. The IN-PATSAT32 is a stand-alone questionnaire enabling the assessment of the contribution of patient satisfaction with oncology-relevant aspects of care by comparison with treatment, psychosocial intervention, or health care services across countries from various socio-cultural backgrounds. This questionnaire may also serve to highlight aspects of care needing improvement in the oncology setting.

Conditions for its use are dependent on whether it will be employed in an academic or commercial setting. For academic settings, there is no charge, but a User Agreement is required for each study (please go to the 'Academic Only Downloads' button below to fill in a download request).

The download request on this website is for academic use only.

For studies carried out by a commercial sponsor or if your study is being wholly or partially sponsored (funded, organized, initiated, managed or run) by the pharmaceutical industry, a compensation fee is payable. A compensation fee is required per study. The amount of the fee depends on the number of patients. For further details for commercial use, please contact Cheryl Whittaker  directly.

Other satisfaction with care questionnaires:

A satisfaction with cancer care core questionnaire assessing domains and aspects of care that are relevant to any hospital in- or outpatient care settings (the EORTC PATSAT-C33) and a specific outpatient module addressing additional aspects of care that are specific to outpatient care settings (EORTC OUT-PATSAT7) are currently being developed. Both questionnaires are Phase III completed and available for use, but have not yet undergone psychometric testing in a large international group of patients.
