Manual for the use of EORTC measures in daily clinical practice

A manual for the use of EORTC measures in daily clinical practice has been prepared by Lisa M. Wintner, Monika Sztankay, Johannes M. Giesinger, Neil Aaronson, Andrew Bottomley, Galina Velikova, Irma Verdonck de Leeuw, Lonneke van de Poll-Franse, Mogens Groenvold, Morten Aagaard Petersen, Bernhard Holzner on behalf of the EORTC Quality of Life Group. 

This manual is to support health care professionals and other stakeholders in the successful and sustainable implementation of the EORTC PRO measures, this manual provides guidance on issues considered important for their use in daily clinical practice. Issues discussed include a rationale for using EORTC measures in routine care, their selection, timing and scoring, presentation of results, aspects of strategic implementation, electronic data collection and telemonitoring, and further use of EORTC measures as well as ethical considerations.
